Collegiate Hoops: Jeffrey Jordan Transferring to UCF

Marcus Jordan decided to take a different rout than his brother Jeffrey and signed a letter of intent with Central Florida.

Marcus who was a freshman this year averaged 8.0 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.5 assist.

He was named to the Conference USA freshman team and will be a starter next season.

Now his brother Jeffrey on the other hand didn't have the perfect set-up as Marcus did.

In his freshman season he scored 1.0 points, and grabbed 0.5 rebounds per game.

Those were definitely not the kind of numbers he was used to.

Things didn't get much better for Jeffrey. He just started getting a lot of minutes this past season and averaged career-highs with 1.6 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assist.

These aren't numbers you can see, and having him as a reserve will not help him become a better player. He knows that that's why he is transferring to Central Florida to play beside his little brother Marcus.

On Jeffrey's Twitter account he stated, "About take off to to my new school the University of Central Florda in orlando... I'll holla at y'all on the Side."

Jeffrey would of course have to sit out the one year of college basketball due to the NCAA rules. Jeffrey played two seasons with the Fighting Illini, and they didn't seem to be the right fit for the 6'1'' guard.

There hasn't been any word from the school about the possible transfer but having both of Michael Jordan's kid on campus will be great for Central Florida.

More updates and news from this topic will be coming soon.
