Austin Malone-Mitchell Adds Offers

Austin Malone-Mitchell, a 5-11 point guard from Rufus King in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, added two scholarship offers today.

His father Marc Mitchell said Malone-Mitchell added offers today from Bowling Green and San Francisco.

Two programs stepped up to offer Malone-Mitchell following his impressive play during the EYBL this past weekend. Playing for the Wisconsin Playground Elite (WI), Malone-Mitchell averaged 13.2 points, five rebounds and four assist.

Savon Goodman Next to UCLA?

Yesterday, Tony Parker, a 2012 Miller Grove (GA) center, announced his commitment to UCLA at a press conference held at his high school. He chose UCLA over Georgia, Kansas, Ohio State and Duke.

Parker joined Shabazz Muhammad, Kyle Anderson and Jordan Adams to help UCLA acquire the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation by ESPN and No. 2 by both Rivals and Scout.

Following the commitment of Parker, UCLA commit Anderson took to Twitter to express his joy of the commitment and also mentioned who else he wanted to team up with as a future Bruin.

Robert Upshaw to Fresno State

7-foot Robert Upshaw (San Joaquin, CA) committed to Kansas State originally over offers from Georgetown, Fresno State and Louisville.

He was set on attending Kansas State, who was coming off a third round apperance in the NCAA tournament until Frank Martin decided to bolt for the South Carolina opening.

Soon after, Upshaw re-opened his recruitment and eliminated both Kansas State and South Carolina as options.

It didn't take long after the decommit for Upshaw to surprise a local school and sign where he was wanted.

Nerlens Noel Commits to Kentucky

Nerlens Noel, the No.1 rated prospect in 2012 by ESPN and No. 2 by Rivals, announced his commitment to Kentucky on ESPNU's Signing Day Special.

Noel, who many considered to be committing to Georgetown, decided to step in for future No. 1 overall NBA draft pick Anthony Davis, although he has yet to announce for the NBA draft yet.

"I thought it was the best fit for me," Noel said.

Noel joins, the newly-rated No. 1 rated recruiting class by ESPN, that features two McDonald's All Americans in shooting guard Archie Goodwin, power forward Alex Poythress, four-star center Willie Cauley and North Carolina State transfer Ryan Harrow.

Shabazz Muhammad Commits to UCLA


Many sources indicated before his much anticipated decision that Shabazz Muhammad, (Bishop Gorman, NV) the No. 1 rated player by Rivals and No. 2 by ESPN, committed to UCLA.

Muhammad, who's always had a strong UCLA lean, made his final decision public when he announced for Ben Howland's Bruins on ESPNU's Signing Day Special.

"I chose to be a Bruin," he said when announcing his college decision.

Muhammad joins, my No. 1 player in the 2012 class, Kyle Anderson, a 6-9 point guard from St. Anthony in New Jersey as well as Jordan Adams of Oak Hill Academy.

DeMarcus Holland to Texas

Rivals three-star shooting guard DeMarcus Holland (Naaman Forest HS, TX) finalized his college decision. The former South Florida commit decided to stay local and commit to the Texas Longhorns while on an official visit per sources.

Holland is a great scoring guard with the ability to play both positions in the backcourt. This season as a senior, Holland elevated his stock with his play and showed some great upside at the lead guard position.
