At 6-7, 180 pounds Brannen Greene of Mary Persons HS in Monroe, Georgia has the size and athleticism to excel on the wing at the college level. The offensive threat has the ability to knock down jumpers, attack the rim and finish strong.
His game has become a coaches favorite and it showed as soon as coaches were allowed to contact recruits graduating in 2013.
Greene received an outstanding 10 phone calls from colleges nationwide.
Alabama, Florida, Georgia Tech, Memphis, Ohio State, Stanford, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and Xavier were the programs that gave the five-star wing a shout after midnight but I expect even more to inquire by today.
Going into his junior year of high school, Greene already has offers from Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Southern, Georgia Tech, Marquette, Mercer, NC State, Oklahoma, Providence, South Carolina, Virginia and Wake Forest.
Greene, who told me earlier this summer, "I will most likely make my decision before my junior year," will likely have a much harder time deciding as he continue to rack up offers and interest from college programs across the nation.
