A simple tweet that contained only one hashtagged word sent shockwaves through recruiting circles and ultimately made a program better today.
Shaquille Goodwin (Southwest Dekalb, GA) made his decision known that he was Memphis bound in the early hours of the day.
Many expected Goodwin to announce for UCLA. However, that wasn't the case. He chose Memphis over UCLA, Georgia, Florida and Arizona.
Goodwin becomes the second pledge to coach Josh Pastner's 2012 recruiting class joining four-star small forward, according to Rivals, Damien Wilson.
He is a great addition to this young Memphis program. He will fit right into Pastner's system, as he is a big that loves to run the floor. He also has the ability to face up, shoot to jumper or drive the lane and attack. He should be an instant impact player for Memphis once he arrives on campus.
