Jared Brownridge Taking Visits

Jared Brownridge, a 6-2 combo guard from Waubonsie Valley in Illinois, lifted his value this summer with the Illinois Wolves AAU program.

Brownridge has a reputation of being a dominating scorer and great shooter, which were two aspects you saw this summer. Bradley, Illinois State, Northern Iowa and Drake among others, have offered.

Notre Dame Prep typically rounds up some of the best talent across the country. With another strong roster ready to head into next year, the 6-9 forward Matthew Atewe, is probably one of the more intriguing big men on the roster.

Jeffrey Carroll Checking His Options

Rowlett (TX) small forward Jeffrey Carroll has a long list of scholarship offers and plenty of interest. With the recent offer from San Diego State, his scholarship total reached 15 with offers from SMU, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Nebraska, TCU and Santa Clara, among others.

Kansas State, TCU, Nebraska, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, San Diego State have put in the most work and are coming hardest, according to Carroll.

Carroll is becoming a more popular commodity in coaching circles and starting to emerge as one of the more popular players. He has a plethora of high-major interest and credits three components of his game.

Alabama Adds Pollard

Devonta Pollard, the No. 22 player in the country according to Rivals, opted to attend Alabama over offers from Texas, Georgetown and Missouri.

The Kemper County small forward is the only commitment for Anthony Grant in the class of 2012 but it's clear Alabama is headed in the right direction.

Coach Grant has added another talented prospect during the late signing period, as he did last year with Trevor Lacey. Pollard won a state championship his senior year at Kemper County (MS) with Anthony Grant in the stands watching.
