Nerlens Noel Commits to Kentucky

Nerlens Noel, the No.1 rated prospect in 2012 by ESPN and No. 2 by Rivals, announced his commitment to Kentucky on ESPNU's Signing Day Special.

Noel, who many considered to be committing to Georgetown, decided to step in for future No. 1 overall NBA draft pick Anthony Davis, although he has yet to announce for the NBA draft yet.

"I thought it was the best fit for me," Noel said.

Noel joins, the newly-rated No. 1 rated recruiting class by ESPN, that features two McDonald's All Americans in shooting guard Archie Goodwin, power forward Alex Poythress, four-star center Willie Cauley and North Carolina State transfer Ryan Harrow.
Interestingly enough, Kentucky is far from done recruiting and could easily finish with the top class across all boards. Kentucky is still recruiting McDonald's All American's Anthony Bennett from Findlay Prep (NV) and Amile Jefferson from Friends Central (PA).

Needless to say, Kentucky has a chance to land four McDonald's All American's to go along with the talent that is expected to stay at Kentucky.
